ABSTRACT

Objective@#To understand emotional and behavioral problems of children aged 3-6 years, and to explore the role of parenting style in the development of those problems.@*Methods@#A total of 2 278 children from 11 public kindergartens in Tongling City from April to June 2018 were selected by cluster sampling method. The questionnaire was made up by parents. The questionnaire mainly included: children, basic information of parents and children, children’s psychology and behavior, and parents’ education style, etc.@*Results@#Among 2 278 children, 192(8.43%) had abnormal emotional symptoms, 214 (9.39%) had conduct problems, 376(16.50%) had hyperactivity problems, 537(23.57%) had peer problems, 233(10.2%) had abnormal total difficulty scores and 254(11.15%) had prosocial behaviors. Gender, age, health status of the child, second-hand smoke exposure of the baby, parents’ education level, family economic conditions, and parents’ education mode are all the influencing factors of children’s emotion and behavior(P<0.05). Logistic analysis showed that father’s support participation(OR=0.96, 95%CI=0.95-0.98), mother’s support participation (OR=0.94, 95%CI=0.92-0.95), mother’s hostility compulsion (OR=1.08, 95%CI=1.06-1.10) and 3-6-year-old children’s abnormal mood and behavior were correlated(P<0.01).@*Conclusion@#Parental support and maternal hostile are related to emotional and behavioral problems of 3-6-year-old children.

ABSTRACT

Objective To indentify the cognitive status of Chinese patients to acne and the influencing factors to theirs' cognitive status,so as to provide solid evidences for the prevention and treatment of acne. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was made to conduct this survey of 16,156 acne patients, who seeked to the treatment in the dermatological departments from 112 hospitals in China. The survey consisted of several parts, including the general status of patients, the patients' cognition of occurrence, development and risk factors of acne, whether the first choice was seeking treatment at the hospital when the patients had acne and the condition of selection of skin care products. The factors were analyzed, which could impact the cognition of the patients' behavior of treatment, how did the patients' cognition to influence their medical behavior and skin care as well as the consistency of assessment of the severity of acne by doctors and patients themselves. Results The acne patients studied had the best knowledge of "acne is a skin disease","it not only occurs in the period of adolescence" and "the disease can be prevented and cured",which accordingly accounted for 80.65%,69.16% and 65.49% of the total patients respectively. However, the awareness of acne patients to heredity, high sugar and dairy products as risk factors for acne was insufficient, which accounted for 48.72%,42.40% and 18.25% of the total patients, respectively.Gender, age, educational level, occupation and health knowledge were the main factors affecting the cognitive level of patients;the survey also found that men, patient with educational level of junior high or even lower educational condition, occupation of labor workers or farmers and patients were lack of health education with poor knowledge of the genetics and dietary were risk factors for acne;patients with age over 36 years or with mild illness had poor knowledge of dietary risk factors for acne;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The analysis of the influence of cognitive status on medical treatment behavior and skin care showed that the better the cognition, the higher the probability of patients would choose medical treatment as the first choice as well as choosing functional skin care products;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The consistency of assessment of the severity of acne by doctors and patients was poor (Kappa value <0.4),and the assessment of severity of acne by patients was more serious than doctors' assessment. Conclusions Patient's cognitive status will affect their medical behavior and skin care, and there is also a phenomenon that patients have a more serious assessment of their acne condition. It is suggested that health education for acne patients should be strengthened in clinical medicine so as to improve their knowledge of acne as well as preventing from acne effectively.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effect of weight-bearing alignment training (WBAT) in correcting anterior pelvic tilt in children with cerebral palsy. Methods Twenty-seven children with cerebral palsy and anterior pelvic tilt were recruited and randonly assigned to a WBAT group,a strengthening group and a standing group, each of 9.In addition to routine medication and rehabilitation training, the 3 groups received WBAT,strengthening training or standing training respectively for 20 minutes a day,5 times a week for 4 weeks. Before and immediately after the treatment, the subjects' anterior superior iliac spine-posterior superior iliac spine angles (ASIS-PSIS angles) were assessed along with their anterior-posterior angles (A-P angles) and distances in a 1-minute walk test. Results The WBAT group showed significant improvement in their average ASIS-PSIS angle (to 18.61 ± 3.13°),A-P angle (to 23.31±3.81°) and the distance in the 1-minute walk test after the treatment. The standing group had significant progress in improving their A-P angles (to 24.48±4.33°),and the strengthening group had significant improvement in the distance walked in the 1-minute walk test. The average improvements in the ASIS-PSIS angle and walk distance in the WBAT group were significantly better than in the other 2 groups. Conclusion WBAT is superior to strengthening and standing training in improving the ASIS-PSIS angle,A-P angle and walking ability of children with cerebral palsy and anterior pelvic tilt.

ABSTRACT

0.05),but was significant as compared with the blood syndrome(P0.05).Conclusion The syndromes of AIDS fever patients are complex, covering defense,Qi,nutrient, and blood phases as well as triple energizers, characterized as multiple fever types and different tongue and pulse conditions.During the syndrome differentiation of AIDS fever, the incidental and fundamental symptoms should be differentiated based on the synthetical analysis of four examinations.
